The application of three-dimensional detection technology in locomotive maintenance

Mechanical spray cleaning is used for the maintenance of bogies and diesel engines in locomotives on the railway. After years of use, it has been found that this cleaning method has high operating costs and does not meet the cleanliness standards of parts. Due to the implementation of heavy load acceleration in railways, higher quality requirements are placed on locomotives. After research, it is believed that only actively applying the new technology of ultrasonic cleaning is an effective measure to achieve energy conservation, emission reduction, efficiency improvement, and ensure safety.
